The dogs tracked her to the bus stop and the trail went cold. This poor child who just the day before buried her grandfather, needed to come home and open her Christmas presents. She slept in her grandfather's chair and in her dress from his funeral. The neighbor who was caring for her while her mom had the flu cared for her grandpa until he died. This case was featured on Nancy Grace.
Allen County sheriff's investigators said in an affidavit that 39-year-old Michael Plumadore admits he killed Aliahana Lemmon. According to the affidavit, Plumadore told police that after beating Aliahana to death, he stuffed her body into trash bags and hid her in the freezer at his home in a rundown area in Fort Wayne. He said he later chopped up her body and stuffed her remains into freezer bags. Police said Plumadore told them he had hidden Alihana's head, feet and hands at his trailer and discarded her other remains at a nearby business. Police obtained a warrant to search his trailer and found the body parts. The affidavit does not provide details about why Plumadore killed the Alihana. A judge ordered Plumadore held without bail or bond at an initial hearing; sheriff's department spokesman Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel said.
