His roommate had dropped him off at the Manassas Mall in the 8300 block of Sudley Road. Plaster had stated that he would find his way home, but he had never made it.

Authorities wanted to identify an individual seen with Plaster that day. The individual is described as Caucasian, in his late twenties, with an average build and thin, unkempt, sandy blonde hair.

Plaster never married and had no children at the time of his disappearance. He dropped out of Stonewall Jackson High School. He was working as a laborer in 1988.
