Twelve-year-old Tara was last seen in San Pablo, California on June 6, 1979. She walked to Pirelli's Liquor Store to purchase a bag of sugar for her mother during the day.
Tara was last seen inside the Montalvin Shopping Center, but she never returned to her home and has not been heard from again.
A man named Timothy Bindner is considered as a possible connection to Tara's case; he is also connected to the disappearances of 7-year-old Amber Swartz-Garcia, 9-year-old Michaela Garecht, 13-year-old Ilene Misheloff and 4-year-old Amanda Campbell.
As of 2020, Tara's disappearance remains unsolved.
